TRAVERSE CITY — Loretta A. Tobin, 62, died Tuesday, March 13, at Tendercare 
Nursing Center, with her loving family close by.

Loretta was born on Dec. 22, 1944, in Empire, to Harold and Shirley (Denny) 
Tobin. 

She was a member of St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church. 

Loretta was a homemaker, and she loved her animals and her music. She was a 
very happy person and lived her life to the fullest.

Loretta is survived by her siblings, Donald Tobin of Traverse City, John 
(Dorothy) Tobin of Honor and Norma (David) Marmie of Traverse City; and her 
many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her baby sister, Judith Marie.

Visitation will be held today, March 15, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Reynolds-Jonkhoff 
Funeral Home. Her funeral Mass will be held Friday at St. Phillip Neri Church 
in Empire at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Fr. Garth Hilmer will be 
the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Phillip Neri Cemetery in the spring.

Memorial donations can be directed to The Diabetes Association.

LORETTA A. TOBIN, 62, of Traverse City, died Tuesday, March 13, at Tendercare
