Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 7 p.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at the church. The Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City is in charge of arrangements. --------------------------------------- TRAVERSE CITY RECORD EAGLE - 23 Aug. 2002 EMPIRE - Marjorie "Marge" Jean Winter, 80, of Empire, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at home. Marge was the beloved wife of Gerald Winter, who preceded her in death on June 23, 1988. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Empire. Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia (Patrick) Beaupre of Canton, Ga., and Barbara (Kishan) Thapar of Redlands, Calif.; one sister, Gladys "Gay" Deardorff of Banning, Calif.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Empire today from 6 to 8 p.m. where a Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, at the church. Burial will follow at St. Philip Neri Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Glen Lake Rescue, P.O. Box 21, Glen Arbor, MI 49636.
