Mr. Neeley was born in Carnmore, Ireland, in 1830, coming to this country in his boyhood. In 1857 he came to Michigan and soon after married and settled in this vicinity. Mr. Neeley was one of nine children, and also has nine children of his own, all of whom were present today. Mr. Neeley is a stanch Democrat and has always been closely identified with the Presbyterian church, holding the office of elder for many years.
