Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mitchell of the South 
 Madison-Fairfield area, celebrated their 60th wedding 
 anniversary with family and friends. Charles Mitchell was 
 born in New York state in 1814, came to Michigan in 1836 
 and married Ann DeLucia Dennis. She was born in Ontario, 
 Canada, Sept. 18, 1821, and came to Adrian with her parents 
 in 1927. Celebrating with them were their children, Mrs. 
 N.J. Strong, Mrs. C.D. West, the Rev. David Mitchell of 
 Iowa, and C.E. Mitchell, who cares for his parents.
