Off for California
Mrs. Seymour Howell leaves tomorrow for San Francisco, where she will be the 
first home one to greet her husband, Major Seymour Howell.  The major sailed 
June 20 from Manila, and knows nothing of his commission as a regular 
paymaster in the army.  He sailed believing that he was not in it, and now 
Mrs. Howell will take the news to him.  The lady is one of the happiest person 
in the city today, to think she is to bear the good news to her life 
companion, who has been away from her so long.
