DIED AT THE HOSPITAL Young Carpenter from Michigan Succumbed To-day Following an Operation Last Week Norris L. Berray, of Adrian, Mich., died at 2:20 o'clock this afternoon at the Memorial Hospital, where he was operated on a week ago to-day for appendicitis, with general peritonitis. He was aged thirty-three years. Mr. Berray was a carpenter and came to Johnstown several months ago to work on the Wild building, corner of Clinton and Main streets. He and his wife boarded with the Crouse family at No. 168 Venango street, Westmont. The deceased's aunt, Miss King, is a professional nurse, and was summoned to Johnstown from Michigan on the day Mr. Berray was operated on. Miss King and Mrs. Berray had since been at his bedside. The remains will be taken to Adrian to-night for burial on Monday. The deceased is survived by his wife, but no children. Additional Comments: Norris was the son of Joel Scudder Berray, [son of Henry Louther Berry and Rumina Scudder], and Mary Esther King [daughter of Ansel King and Sarah Gobels Silsbee].
