She was untied in marriage with Benjamin Blain, March 25, 1894. The home was blessed with one daughter. Mrs. Blain was forever happy doing those kindnesses for others which make life worth while. She was taken from the scenes of earth November 9, 1909, and from apparently good health, with but a brief illness. She leaves a husband, one daughter, Miss Vivian at home, two sisters Miss Cloe [sic] Still, who lived with her, and Mrs. Henry Goods of Palmyra, a father Joseph Still, who also lived with her and a large circle of friends. She was a noble wife and mother and a considerate neighbor and her loss will be felt keenly in her home and community. The funeral was held at the home Thursday at eleven o'clock, W.T. Lockwood, pastor of the Dover church officiating. The music was rendered by the Sand Creek quartette [sic]. The beautiful floral offerings were expressive of the high esteem in which she was regarded by her friends and neighbors. Interment was made at the Weston cemetery. [Note: Elizabeth M. (Still) Blain was the daughter of Joel Still, not his brother, Joseph Still] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/lenawee/obits/b/blain1769gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/mifiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
