MRS. F. W. BRAINARD
DIED THIS MORNING

Death Came After an Illness of Eight
Months of Tuberculosis at the
Home on Rich Street


The death of Mrs. F. W. BRAINARD who has been seriously ill with tuberculosis 
for sometime occurred at 1:50 this morning at the home of her mother, Mrs. C. 
M. KNOWLES, at 4 Rich Street, where Mr. and Mrs. BRAINARD have resided since 
their marriage. Death followed an eight month illness with a disease which has 
previously caused the death of a sister, Sadie KNOWLES.

Mrs. BRAINARD, who was Lilly KNOWLES before her marriage passed her earlier 
years in Hart, Mich. and in Adrian Township. She leaves only the widower and 
the mother of the immediate relatives. Her marriage to Mr. BRAINARD was 
celebrated nearly three years ago. The Funeral services are arranged for 
Saturday at 2 p.m., from the residence, with burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
