FUNERALS

Thomas Brower

RIGA, Nov. 15 - The funeral of Thomas Brower who died Friday noon in the Bixby 
hospital in Adrian where he was taken the day before after he suffered a 
stroke of paralysis in his home at Palmyra, was held yesterday afternoon at 
2:30 o'clock in the Belman-Mann Funeral home in Blissfield.  The Rev. Herbert 
Brubaker officiated and the burial was in the Palmyra cemetery.  The bearers 
were Paul Cook, Will Rogers, Cecil Still, Vern Moore, Harold Smith and Fred 
Jackson.

Mr. Brower was 67 years old and had been a life long resident of Palmyra 
township.  He was survived only by one niece Mrs. Vernon Pickens of Flat 
Rock.  Mr. and Mrs. Pickens and two daughters attended the services.
