Bugbee, a former resident of Vacaville, passed away at his home in Turlock on Jul 25th. He was born sixty-two years ago in Michigan, and came to Vacaville about 1887. For a number of years he leased and conducted various fruit ranches, living for a time on the Gibbs place. He was a carpenter by trade, and in partnership with his nephew, C. E. Bugbee, conducted a blacksmith shop for a number of years in the building now occupied by Applary & Miller. He removed to Turlock a few years ago, where he resided until his death. He was an active member of the Odd Fellows and Woodmen of the World, being an organizer for a period for the latter order. A son, Harry Bugbee and a daughter, Mrs. Weddell, survive him.
