Elwood Clark of 3915 Treat Road, 41 years old, an employee of American Chain 
and Cable Co. for the last 20 years, died at 3:25 p.m. Sunday in Bixby 
Hospitao shortly after admittance.  He was stricken with a heart attack at his 
home yesterday afteernoon.
  Born June 15, 1921 , in madison township he was the son of Obert and Jennie 
Rickerson Clark .  With the exception of time in the service during World War 
II, Mr. Clark spent his entire life in Madison township.
  He married Rosa B. Bolin before entering the service who survives with two 
sons Gene Edward and Richard Allen at home: his mother  Mrs. Jennie Clark of 
Treat Road; two sisters  Mrs Harold (Bessie) Bennett and Mrs R Merle(Myrle) 
Richardson of Madison township; three brothers, James of Detroit, Erwin and 
Harold Clark of Adrian. His Father Obert B. Clark preceded him in death, one 
sister Mrs. Luella Speller, and one brother, Leland in infancy.
  The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. in the Everiss Funeral Home, the 
Rev. H.B. Peter officiating.  Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park in 
Adrian.
