Mrs. Albert Creger - Deerfield, April 9, 1956 - Mrs. Minnie Marie Creger, 78 
years old, wife of Albert Creger of 2703 Sisson Road, Britton, died at 5:05 
p.m. Saturday, April 07, 1956 at Herrick Memorial Hospital, Tecumseh, 
Michigan.  She had been in failing health for six months and hospitalized 
three days.

Mrs. Creger was born in Germany, Oct. 5, 1877, and had lived in the Britton 
vicinity for 62 years.  She married Albert Creger who proceded her in death.  
She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church at Blissfield, Mi.

Mrs. Creger is survived by three sons, Oscar of Deerfield, John of Blissfield 
and Frank of Tecumseh: two daughters, Mrs. Helen Orewiler and Miss Ann Creger, 
both at home; two brothers, Paul Schadewald of Adrian and William Shadewald of 
Deerfield: two sisters Mrs. Anna Piotter of Blissfield and Mrs. Josephine 
Gamboe of Sylvania,: five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  She was 
preceeded in death by her parents; a son, Leo, and a brother, Frank.

The funeral will be at 2;45 p.m., Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran church in 
Blissfield with the Rev. A.J. Lucht officiating.  The burial will be in 
Deerfield cemetery.  The bearers will be Virgil Linn, Harry Creger, Orville 
Weasel, Harold Raymond, Lester Reed and Donald Knowles.

The body is at the Creger residence.  The arrangements are in charge of the 
Valentine & McNeil Funeral Home, Deerfield.
