Creger, 91 of Deerfield, passed away June 20, 1994, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Tecumseh, July 24, 1902, the son of William Oscar Woodbeck and Minnie Schadewald. On June 13, 1939, he married Bethel Robison in Deerfield. She survives. Mr. Creger was a lifetime farmer and a substitute mail carrier for the Deerfield Post Office. He was also employed by Comfort Brick & Tile in Tecumseh, retiring in 1980. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Verna) Frayer of Deerfield, two Grandchildren, David and Sara Frayer of Deerfield; and one sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be at 1p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Deerfield with burial in Deerfield Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9p.m. today, Tuesday, June 21, 1994, at the Rosko-Miller Funeral Home in Deerfield. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday.
