W.H. Cutter, a Well-Known Resident of Adrian. Expires at Elyria, Ohio on Sunday. General Sympathy for the Afflicted Family A sudden and terrible bereavement has come to Mrs. W.H. CUTTER and family. Shortly after noon on Sunday, she received a telegram from Elyria, O., stating her husband was seriously ill, and to come at once. While she was making hurried preparations for the journey, a second dispatch came, saying Mr. CUTTER was dead. Mr. C. D. HARDY, a nephew of the deceased, left on the fast mail for Elyria, reaching there in the evening and returning this morning with the remains. At an early hour Sunday morning, one of the guests in the Hotel Andwur at Elyria, was awakened by the groaning of a man in an adjoining room. Thinking that something was wrong, he called a porter, and together they looked through the transom and discovered a man on the bed who was apparently in great pain. Gaining an entrance to the room they found Mr. CUTTER in a dying condition. Medical help was summoned, and physicians worked over him until nearly noon, when death ended his agony. The coroner was called, but an inquest was deemed unnecessary. Mr. HARDY is of the opinion that Mr. CUTTER suffered a stroke of apoplexy. At his request, no post-mortem examination was held. Mr. CUTTER left here in good health and spirits last Tuesday morning. He traveled for the Reliance Corset company of Jackson, and was an excellent salesman. He had been on the road for about thirty years, representing an umbrella house a great portion of this time. Mr. CUTTER was 55 years of age. He leaves a widow and four grown children: Louis, Will, Milton and Fanchon. The greatest sympathy is extended them in their irreparable loss. Mr. CUTTER was a man who lived for his family, his daily life being full of little kindnesses to those for whom he had the most unselfish love. " This is my husband's great great grandfather. His grandmother was Marguerite Elaine CUTTER Baker, daughter of Louis Nelson CUTTER from Adrian. My husband is William Moore BAKER, Jr. dz
