G Margaret Dickerson

Madison Twp.  Germaine Margaret Dickerson, 83, of Adrian, died peacefully at
her home Thursday, Oct 15, 1998, under the care of her family and Hospice of
Lenawee, after an illness of two years.

She was born to August and Marie (LeCluyse) DeBacker on Jan. 6, 1915, in
Detroit, Mich.  On Feb. 18, 1933, she married Martin Dickerson in Detroit and
he survives.  Their entire married life was spent farming in Lenawee County
until their retirement.

In addition to her husband of 65 years, Martin Dickerson, Margaret is survived
by a daughter-in-law, Jeannette of Adrian; four grandchildren, David (Dena)
Dickerson of Tecumseh, Susan (Vince) Goff of Dundee, Debbie Lewis and friend
John Christian of Adrian, and John (Mary) Dickerson of Adrian.  Also surviving
are eight great-grandchildren, Justin and Eric Dickerson, Donald Lewis and
Christopher Christian of Adrian, Amanda and Samantha Goff of Dundee, and
Jeremy and Heather Dickerson of Adrian.  Preceding her in death was a son,
Richard, in 1995, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Oct 18, 1998, at 2 p.m. from the
Anderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Herter officiating.  Interment will
be in Ogden Zion Cemetery.  Friends and family may call at the Anderson
Funeral Home today from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.  Envelopes are
available at the Anderson Funeral Home.
