Auldene M. Esterline 
 
SIDNEY, Ohio - Auldene M. Esterline, 83, of Sidney, Ohio, formerly of Tecumseh, 
died Jan. 4, 2006.

Auldene was born Sept. 21, 1922, in Cadmus, Mich., the daughter of Richard and 
Nillie (Thaxto) Drouillard. On April 2, 1945, she married Lloyd L. “Duke” 
Esterline. He preceded her in death. Auldene resided in Lenawee County, moving 
to Ohio in 1992. She was a member of the Tecumseh American Legion Auxiliary.

Auldene is survived by one daughter, Linda (Robert) Wallace of Sidney, Ohio; 
four sons, Robert (Joyce) Esterline of Texas, Jack Esterline of Indiana, Duke 
(Pam) Esterline of Michigan and Craig Esterline of Michigan; four sisters, 
Katherine, Yvonne, Garnet and Geraldine; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-
grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Duke, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael; five 
brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, at the Purse 
Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with the Rev. Lloyd Jewett officiaitng. Burial will 
follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh. Visitation will be Friday 2 
to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Condolences may be made
