Irwin EMAIL: irwinj33@net-link.net DATE: Feb 28, 2000 PASSWORD> SURNAMES: EHINGER, FLUEGEL, KING, MATTHES, ROSENTRETER, ULRICH Adrian Daily Telegram, 26 July 1926 Mrs. Charles EHINGER, aged 81 years, died Sunday evening in the home of her daughter, Mr. Eli KING in Jasper, after a lingering illness. She was born in Mecklenburg, Schwerin, Germany, and came to America at the age of 12 years with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Christian FLEUGEL. She was united in marriage to Charles EHINGER in 1862, and with the exception of two years spent in Cleveland, Ohio, with her son, Carl, she had lived in or near Adrian since her marriage. Those surviving her are four sons, Carl F. of Cleveland, Ohio; Edward E., of Palm Beach Fla., Fred C. of Palmyra; Frank C., of Adrian and three daughters, Mrs. A. G. MATTHES and Mrs. Oscar ROSENTRETER of Adrian and Mrs. Eli KING of Jasper, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth ULRICH of Adrian. Her husband died in 1904, a daughter Mrs. Carrie ROSENTRETER in 1908, and a son and daughter died in infancy.
