MRS. MARIE C FICK
     Blissfield--Mrs. Marie C. FICK, 73 years old, the widow of Charles
FICK, died Sunday at 3 p.m. in Bixby hospital in Adrian where she was
admitted a short time earlier.  She had been ill for 16 months.
     Mrs. FICK was born Jan 20, 1887, in Monroe County, the daughter
of Gustave and Augusta HAAS BRUHN.  She was married June 22, 1905, to
Charles FICK, who preceded her in death in 1947.  They lived in Riga until
1917 when they moved to Blissfield.
     Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. George (Amelia) McCARTY and
Mrs. Frank (Esther) MAY of Deerfield, Mrs. Elmer (Helen) YOUNG and Mrs.
Leslie (Irene) LIPS of Blissfield; five sons, Ernest, Wilbert, Alfred, and
Carl of Blissfield and Amiel of Midland; 27 grandchildren and 17 great-
grandchildren; one brother, Edward BRUHN of Blissfield and one sister, Mrs.
August FILCHER of Palmyra.
     Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Tagsold
Funeral Home and at 2"30 in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.  The
Rev. A.J. Lucht will officiate.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
