The death of Mrs. Henry Force took place at midnight wednesday night, at
her home in Madison, death being due to paralysis and old age. She suffered
a stroke of paralysis last summer, and never was able to recover.
Deceased was Miss Mary Ann McConnell and was born in the north of Ireland
in April 1821. She came to this country with her parents when she was nine
years of age locating in Toledo, and in a short time moving to Lenawee,
where she had resided ever since. She married Henry Force in 1842. He died
in September, 1896. Three sons are living. They are W.J., George G. of
this city and Alonzo of Madison. The funeral will be conducted Saturday
afternoon at 2o'clock, from her home in Madison. Interment in Madison Center
Cemetery.
