Paul Francis Goris 


Age 80, passed away Friday November 19, 2004, at home under the loving care of 
his family and Hospice of Jackson / Oaklawn. He was born to Charles and 
Madeline Goris.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marilyn; his brother, Charles (Cleo) 
Goris of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Rita Payne of Spring Arbor; sons, Paul 
(Lynn) Goris of Parma and Randy (Diana) Goris of Jerome; daughter, Cathy (Art) 
Taylor of Jackson, eight grandchildren, Jason (Laura) Goris, Kelly (Wayne) 
Hinderer, Randy, Robbie, and Heather Goris, Brian (Jana) Boyer, Daryl Boyer, 
Jason (Beth) Boyer; nine great grandchildren, Lily, Aaron, Izabella, Tim, 
Darian, D.J., Natasha, Carolyn, Joshua and Victoria, several nieces & nephews, 
and a special canine
companion, Abbey.

Paul was a very loving, compassionate man. He was friendly, caring, and 
talkative to everyone he met. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW 
II. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima, Knights of Columbus, and the Moose 
Lodge. He was a painter for more than 50 years with Hill Brothers. Paul had a 
love for cooking and most often prepared the family meals. He was most happy 
and content when he had the opportunity to serve his delicious home cooking to 
his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation 
or services. Arrangements by Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
