Greenhill Tipton­Thomas D. Greenhill, 60 of U.S. 12, Tipton, died on Feb. 27, 1995, in Woodhaven. He was born in Detroit on May 17, 1934, to Thomas and Helen (Spangler)Greenhill. On Oct. 14, 1955, he married Georgia McClellan. She survives. During his lifetime Mr. Greenhill was employed as a witchman for Norfolk and Western Railroad and most recently as a bus driver for Smart Transportation Company. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Clinton, the Brooklyn Eagles, a volunteer firefighter for the Sand Lake Fire Department, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his wife, Georgia, he is survived by his mother, Helen, of Taylor; two sons, Donald (Linda) Greenhill of Woodhaven and Craig (Leanora)Greenhill of Lincoln Park; two daughters, Mrs. Mike (Susan) Prickett of Woodhaven and Mrs. David (Toni) Gibson of Clinton; two brothers, Ronald or Pinckney and Richard of Taylor; three sisters, Mrs. Steve (Gerie) Der, Mrs. Gordie (Angie) Sylvester, both of Taylor, and Mrs. Pat (Barbara) McGraw of California; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends may call at the Couture-Ochalek Funeral Home in Clinton from 2-9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Clinton United Church of Christ with the Rev. Wayne Brass officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Township Cemetery, Tipton. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the Clinton United Church of Christ, the Sand Lake Fire Department, or the Lenawee Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
