Obituaries

 

GARRY A. HARRISON

Garry A. Harrison, 46, of Clayton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on 
Thursday, September 18, 2008.  Garry was born in Plymouth, Michigan the son of 
Gerald and Karen (Mason) Harrison.  On May 20, 1992, he married Dana Burch in 
Toledo, Ohio.

 

Garry was an outdoorsman.  He loved to hunt and fish.  Opening day was always 
looked forward to with great anticipation and excitement.  Garry was a 
licensed builder, who over the years developed many loyal customers with his 
Harrison Handyman Service.

 

In addition to his wife, Dana, Garry is survived by his children, 
Jessica “Patch” Harrison of Adrian; Christopher Lowery of Tecumseh; and 
Kristopher Ploegstra of Licking, MO; a granddaughter, MaKena; and three 
brothers, Barry (Jan) Harrison of Fletcher NC; Larry Harrison of Tecumseh and 
Perry (Liz) Harrison of Clinton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

The funeral service for Garry was held on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at Wagley 
Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph and her sister in law, Patti 
Haman.

A mass of the Christian burial was held Saturday,  September 20, 2008, at St. 
Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh with Fr. Daniel Wheeler officiating.  
Burial followed in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.  Visitation was held Friday, 
September 19, 2008, at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh. A rosary 
was recited on Friday at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
