JOHN M. 'JACK' HEFFRON
MICHIGAN CITY,IN.John M. "Jack" Heffron, 67, of Michigan City, In., passed away
May 30, 1998, at Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso, In..
Jack was born Oct. 12, 1930, in Adrian, Mich., to Howard and Jessie (McPherson)
Heffron, MD. He served in the armed forces during the Korean War. On June 15,
1957, he married Jane Pletcher in Adrian. She survives. He graduated from Albion
College and attended DePaul University Law School. He held a seat on the Chicago
Board of Trade until his retirement.
Besides his wife, Jane, survivors include his children, Patricia Ann (Mark)
Armstrong of Chesterton, IN., Tracy Leigh (Michael) Wright of Bloomington, IN.,
John M. (Karin) Heffron Jr. of Seattle, Wash., Susan Jane (John) Krametbauer of
Peoria, Ariz., Howard H. Heffron of Michigan City, IN., and Mary Elizabeth
Heffron of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Howard C. Heffron of Cave Creek, Ariz a
sister, Mrs. William (Delight) Raymond of Adrian; and grandchildren, Jason,
James, Katherine, Jenna, Hayden, Madison, Michael and Samantha.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.
Funeral services for Jack will be private, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Braun Everiss Wagley Funeral Home.
