EDWARD HARPER, BROOKLYN RESIDENT, DIES Mrs. Edward HARPER, aged 50 years, died Sunday at Tecumseh hospital where she had been brought Saturday after being taken suddenly ill on Friday at her home in Brooklyn. Mrs. HARPER, who was an accomplished musician, had conducted her classes as usual on Friday before being taken ill. She was formerly Florence D. LINTON, a daughter of John and Julia WYRILL LINTON, and was born in Tecumseh where she lived most of her life. After her marriage to Mr. HARPER, they lived for a time in Saline and 12 years ago moved to Brooklyn. While here she attended the Methodist church but after leaving she became a member of the Adventist church in Jackson. Besides her husband she leaves a daughter Carole and a son Melburn [Milburn] of Brooklyn, a brother Thomas Wyrill LINTON of Grosse Pointe, an uncle John WYRILL of Tecumseh, and a cousin Oliver JONES of Battle Creek. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Belding Funeral Home. Rev. N. Shroup of Jackson officiated and burial was in Brookside cemetery.
