ALLEN F. “GUS’ JOHNSON

ST. HELEN, Mich. - Allen F. “Gus” Johnson, 72, of St. Helen, Mich., formerly of 
Florida, passed away June 21, 1996.

Mr. Johnson resided in St. Helen since 1994.  He was a member of the Free 
Methodist Church of Roscommon.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Tawney) Johnson of St. Helen; two sisters, 
Dorothy Tenniswood of Adrian and Arlene Ortz of Morenci; two brothers, Malon 
Johnson of Munson and Carl Johnson of California.  Also surviving are two 
stepsons, Cecil Harvey of Adrian and Lonnie of Gainsville, Fla., two step 
daughters, Ellen Voss of Tecumseh and Dawn Green of Red Bay, Ala.; and many 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Services were conducted in West Branch at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral 
Home.  

Note: He was preceded in death by one stepson, Mark Harvey in 1983 and 2 
stepgranddaughters, Hope Joy Harvey in 1976 and Regina Jean Harvey in 1979.
