Irene Jordan 


Age 80, of Tecumseh, passed away October 18, 2004, at Provincial House, 
Adrian. She was bornMarch 19, 1924 in Royalton, KY, the daughter of Coon and 
Rosie (Puckett) Poe. 

She is survived by four daughters; Joanne Moore of Tecumseh, Carol (Tom) 
Valencich of Adrian, Ruby (Larry) Palmer of Warner Robbins, GA, and Connie 
Kaye Jennings of Warner Robbins, GA; nine grandchildren; eight great 
grandchildren; and a brother Lloyd Poe of Saylersville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband John in October 1980; granddaughter 
Amy Moore; grandson, Johnny Palmer; and a son in law David Moore.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2004 in the Purse 
Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with Sue Wilhelm officiating. Interment will follow in 
Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 
p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to
