Death was due to general breaking down and her advanced age. Mrs. Craig was born in Antrim county, Ireland, April 11, 1835, and passed to her heavenly home September 19, 1920, making her 85 years, 5 months and 8 days of age. She was married to Charles Craig May 26, 1857, who passed away January 18, 1907. They came to America in April, 1865, where they reared a home which truly was an earthly paradise. To them were born nine children, three sons, James, Will and Charles, and six daughters, four of whom, Mrs. Anna Hendershott, Mrs. Jennie Harrington, Mrs. Ellen Hoagland and Mrs. Della Pattison, survive. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren. She was a good wife, a loving mother and a kind and thoughtful friend, always ready and willing to help others. She was a faithful member for a number of years of the DeSpelder church. While she is gone, her kind deeds and loving example will live long in the memory of those who knew her best. The funeral services were held Wednesday at 1 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Pattison and were conducted by Rev. Samuel Tamblyn. Many attended to show the respect and esteem in which she was held. The remains were laid to rest in Ridgeway cemetery.
