KINZEL Harold R. Kinzel, 83, of Palmetto, FL, and formerly of Toledo, passed away Monday, September 8, 1997 in his residence. Harold was the owner and operator of Harold’s Lounge on Laskey Rd, near Jackman Rd. for 15 years, retiring from there in 1977. He was in the bar business for most of his life, was a member of the Elks, the Board of Elections and the West Toledo Democratic Club. After selling Harold’s Place, he was a clerk for the Lucas County Tax office and a deputy sheriff. Mr. Kinzel is survived by his wife, Hazel L. McClain) Kinzel; sons, Richard (Judy), Thomas (Kathy) and Terry (Linda); daughter, Mrs. Susan (John) Kregulka; brother, LeRoy (Catherine) Kinzel; sister, Helen Piotter; his 12 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. Friends may call Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bayer VanWormer-Scott Funeral Home, 5055 Secor Rd. (north of Laskey where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Services will begin with prayers at the mortuary Saturday, September 13, 1997 at 9:30 am. followed by his Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
