MANITOU BEACH -- Arthur H. Komm, 71, of Manitou Beach, died Wednesday in Yuma, 
Ariz. after a lengthy illness.
  He was born Dec. 20, 1908 in Thayer, Mo., to Fred and Francis Komm. Mr. Komm 
had lived in Michigan since 1935, and retired from the American Chain and 
Cable in Adrian on July 1, 1971. He was associated with Jehovah's Witnesses 
for most of his life.
  He is survived by his widow, Marie, three daughters, Mrs. William (Lila) 
Teeter of Manitou Beach, Mrs. Maynard (Vicki) Glidden of Manitou Beach, Mrs. 
William (Irene) Smith of Flint, two brothers, three sisters, nine 
grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
  A memorial service will be held in Addison at the local Kingdom Hall of 
Jehovah's Witnesses March 15 at 1 p.m. with Kenneth Ball of the Adrian 
Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses officiating.
