HAZEL L. KINZEL , age 87, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Toledo, passed away
Monday, October 27, 2003, in Bradenton, FL Born December 6, 1915, in Lima, OH,
she was the daughter of Frank and Clara McClain. She married Harold Kinzel
September 11, 1937, in Adrian, Ml. She and her late husband were proprietors of
Harold’s Tavern on Laskey Road for more than 30 years. She also worked for the
Lucas County Board of Elections for many years. A loving mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother, Hazel enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a woman
with a wonderful sense of humor who enjoyed playing cards and being an active
member of the Red Hat & Purple Dress Club. She was also an active member of the
Bradenton Elks.
She is survived by sons, Richard (Judy) of Sandusky, OH, Thomas (Kathy) of
Naples, FL and Terry (Linda) of N. Ft. Meyers, FL and daughter, Sue (John)
Kregulka of Temperance, MI 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her husband, 5 sisters and a brother.
Friends may call in the Famham Funeral Home, 1125 W. Temperance Rd., Temperance,
Ml, Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:30 p.m.
in the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Bunal at 1 p.m. in Our Lady of
Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Rev. Thomas Byrne officiating. Burial will follow in
Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.  Memorials may be made to a charity
of the donor’s choice.
