The Adrian (MI) Daily Telegram, Monday, 1 June 1942, p 6 col 5
Carey MILLER of Fairfield, 74 years old, died Saturday morning at 10 o'clock 
in the University Hospital in Ann Arbor where he had been a patient for two 
weeks.

Surviving him are his widow, Jennie; two daughters, Mrs. Stella PIFER of 
California and Mrs. Avis BROWN of Monroe; two sons, Lee MILLER of Toledo and 
Dale MILLER at home, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also surviving are two half-brothers, Fred PARSELS of Adrian and William 
PARSELS of Springfield, and one half-sister, Mrs. Bessie SPRIGGS of 
Chattanooga, Tenn.

The body is at the Braun Funeral Home where the funeral services will be held 
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. T.R. DOLDSON of the Weston Baptist 
Church will officiate and the burial will be in the Fairfield cemetery. 
Friends are to omit flowers.
