MEYERS, 73 years old, died Sunday at 5 a.m. in his home 1140 East Church St. He had been in failing health since October 1961. Mr. MEYERS was employed until his illness by the United Trucking Co. as a driver for 23 years. Before that time for 15 years he was a driver for the Michigan Producers Dairy Co. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local 164 of Jackson. Mr. MEYERS was born Oct. 15, 1889, in Toledo, the son of Fred and Hattie RIDDLE MEYERS. He first married Florence SPELLER of Adrian Dec. 3, 1910. She is deceased. He married Mrs. Isabelle BRADISH March 6, 1939. She survives with one son, Bradford MEYERS of Adrian; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Lillian) KING of Palmyra and Mrs. Robert (Thelma) HARKNESS of Adrian; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Michael (Louise) SCHERMERHORN of Galesburg and Mrs. Elsie BRADISH of Adrian. Also surviving are three brothers, Edward M. MEYERS, J.H. and Fred W. MEYERS of Adrian; two sisters, Mrs. Portia KIMBALL of Adrian and Mrs. Margaret MITCHELL of Holloway; eight grandchildren and ten step-grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Braun Funeral Home, the Rev. James Brantingham officiating. Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park. Bearers were Roy Etter, Don SEGERT, Russell BATES, Robert SHERWIN, Ralph FRANKS and Charles NORTH. Adrian Daily Telegram date unknown but Alfred died Mar. 17, 1963. dz
