She had been a resident at the Adrian Health Care Center for one year. She was 94. Mrs. MEYERS was born March 30, 1893, at Ogden Twp. to Ernest and Letta (RAGLESS) SMALLEY, one of the founding families of Michigan. She married James Howard MEYERS June 30, 1915. She attended Adrian public schools and was a graduate of Brown's Business College in Addrian. She worked at Bond Steel Post Company and later was employed at J.C. Penney Corp. for many years, retiring in 1962. She was a MEYERS Life member, a member of First Baptist Church of Adrian for 80 years, a member of the Lucy Wolcott Barnum chapter of the D.A.R., past president of World War II Mothers Association and a member of the Progressive Women's Club Mrs. MEYERS is survived by her husband James, one son, Richard H. MEYERS of Adrian; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Robert, and a sister Hazel MOSSING. Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Everiss-Wagley Funeral Home in Adrian. The Rev. Ronald Tipton will officiate. Burial is at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home Adrian Daily Telegram dz
