The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net *********************************************************************** Moore Watson Moore Watson was born in Antrim county, Ireland, in 1830, and departed this life February 2, 1912, at the home of his son Smiley Watson of Macon, having reached his eighty-second year. He was married in 1854 to Elizabeth Darrh. To this union five children were born: William, who died three years ago, James and David of Tecumseh, Smiley of Macon and Mrs. Elizabeth Usborn of Phoenix, Arizona. Mrs. Watson passed away six years ago. Mr. Watson came to America in 1884, settling in Tecumseh, living here four years. He then moved to Macon where he spent the remainder of his life. Mr. Watson was a kind father and neighbor and was highly respected by all who knew him. His funeral was held at the home, with burial in Brookside cemetery.
