Aug. 14, 1912 Adrain Daily Telegram Paralytic Stroke Fatal To MRS. RACHEL NEYGUS Dies at Home of Daughter in Seneca Township MRS. RACHEL P. NEYGUS died Tuesday noon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. B. F. FRANKLIN in this township. Had she lived until Thursday her life would have rounded out 77 years. She will be buried that day, the time of the funeral at the home being 2:30 standard. She leaves the daughter, with whom she lived, a grandson, E. C. FRANKLIN, of Toledo, and a great grandson, Hazen FRANKLIN, also of that city. Mrs. NEYGUS had been practically helpless from paralysis for the past five months. Additional info not in obituary Rachel and Moses Neygus are buried in Morenci in Oak Grove Cemetery. Born Rachel Persis Luther on Aug. 15, 1834 in Cummington, Massachusetts to Samuel Parkhurst and Lydia (Harlow) Luther. Married Moses Neygus, son of Moses and Lydia Neygus, in Peru, Massachusetts on Sept. 13, 1853. Daughter Clara Neygus was born Sept. 1860 in Michigan (probably Seneca Township). Clara married Benjamin Franklin abt 1882. Son Eric Clyde Franklin was born May 26, 1885 in Michigan (probably Seneca Township) Eric Clyde Franklin married Laura Holmes and had two sons Hazen born abt 1908 and Holmes born 1916-1918. Eric and his family left Michigan between 1918 and 1920 and resided in Toledo, Ohio.
