MRS. CHARLES NIEMAN 
(Mathilda Caroline Ernestine)
  Blissfield:  Nov. 20--Mrs. Charles NIEMAN, aged 91 years, a resident of
Blissfield for many years and before that of Riga Township, died Thursday
noon in Flint in the home of her son Charles NIEMAN after a six weeks
illness.  For the last four years Mrs. NIEMAN has lived with her children.
     She is survived by three sons Charles of Flint, Otto of Detroit and
John of West Branch, two daughters Mrs. James BARTHOLOMEW of
Pennsylvania and Mrs. Frank GREENWALD of Adrian and a number of
grandchildren.
     The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in St. John's
Lutheran Church in Riga.  The Rev. C. Schmelzer will officiate and the
burial will be in the Riga Cemetery.
