Hudson Post - Oct. 22, 1874
Lorenzo PALMER, Esq, aged 71 died here Oct 17.  Born in Litchfield, Conn, Feb 
27, 1803.  Moved with his parents to Delaware Co, NY.  In 1824 he married Miss 
Ruth WELLS, who died in 1853.  In May, 1854, he married Miss Nancy GAMBLE, who 
survives him.  He came to this village in 1843.  Has held several offices, JP, 
Supervisor, e.g.  He had 4 sons & 2 daus, all of the 1st marriage, & all are 
married & well settled in life.  They had a family gathering on July 19 at his 
home.
