PARSELS, 79 years old, died at 11 p.m. Thursday at his residence at 2013 South Jackson St., here. He had been a resident of the city for the last ten years. Mr. PARSELS, a retired farmer, lived near Tipton and Onsted for many years. He was born November 5, 1878, at Fairfield, the son of James H. and Mary Ann PARSELS. He is survived by his widow, Vilora; a daughter, Mrs. Roscoe ALVERSON of Jackson; three sons, Floyd W. of Jackson, Lester L. of Onsted, and Leo O. of Grass Lake; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two daughters, Cecil and Cleah, and two grandchildren preceded him in death. The body is at the Cavanaugh Funeral Home at 223 West Prospect St. Friends may call until noon Tuesday. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. at the Dunn Funeral Home at Onsted. The burial will be in the Tipton cemetery. The Adrian (MI) Daily Telegram, Friday, 14 February 1958, p 8, col 7 William T. SCHALLER William T. SCHALLER of Hoddinott Road died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday afternoon in Bixby hospital where he had been admitted a few hours earlier. He had been in ill health for several months. Mr. SCHALLER was born in Maumee, Ohio, May 21, 1873, the son of Benedict and Elizabeth SHETLEY SCHALLER. He came to Michigan with his family from Paulding, Ohio, in 1912 and settled in Rome township where he was a farmer for 46 years. He married Ruth STALEY of Paulding and she preceded him in death Sept. 17, 1951. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) CONKLIN of Onsted, in March 1954, two brothers and four sisters. Surviving Mr. SCHALLER are one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Ferne) EVERY Sr. of Adrian, one sister, Mrs. Emma BOSTDORF of Maumee, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Everiss Funeral Home, the Rev. Ivan E. HODGSON of the First Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial cemetery.
