BETTY LOU PIOTTER
Betty Lou Piotter, daughter of Paul and Madeline Piotter was born December 29,
1927 at Ridgeway Township. Soon after her birth she was brought to God in holy
baptism which she received January 18, 1928.
In the year 1928 her parents moved to Blissfield where they have been living
since September. She was greatly loved by her parents and many relatives, and
she and her brother were a bright spot in the home. 
However, the God who had given also saw fit to take away. Of him we know the
Scriptures say "How unseaarchable are his judgements and His ways past finding
out." We do not know why he has done what he has done, but he wants no harm to
befall his children.
So it was that shortly after the death of her uncle (Herman Piotter), she also
was striken, the cold which she had had since the holiday season developed into
double pneumonia, and she departed this life on Sunday morning at 6:30 o'clock,
at the age of 1 year, 1 month, 6 days, and the Master who said "Suffer the
little children to come unto me and forbid them not" also took her to his bosom.
She is mourned by her father and mother and little brother, Robert as well as
many relatives and friends of the family. May God comfor the parents who sorrow
for her, with his tender love and help them to understand that His way is best
and grant her that is gone all these heavenly joys that await the departed
children of God.
