Plotter, 85, of 108 Union St., Blissfield, died at 12:30 p.m.Sunday, Dec. 15, 1974 at Lenawee Medical Care Facility where she had been a patient since August, 1973. She was born in Germany July 25, 1889, daughter of Gottlieb and Augusta (Zilke)Shadewald. She came to the United States when she was a child. She was married May 6, 1909 to Herman Piotter, who preceded her in death Jan. 25, 1929. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Mildred Piotter of Blissfield and Mrs. Henry (Leona) Ballard of Adrian; a son, Harold of Blissfield; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Paul Shadewald of Adrian and William Shaclewald of Blissfield; and one sister, Mrs. Josephine Gamer of Sylvania, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a son, R.A. Plotter, former Adrian mayor, who died June23, 1972. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Vernon DeVantier officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends may call at Tagsold Funeral Home until 11 am. Wednesday.
