Herman August Plotter, son of Jobn and Augusta Plotter; born March 6, 1887, at Deerfield,. Michigan. In infancy be was baptized by the sainted: Rev. Wm. Kroencke, and at the age of 14 [was confirmed as a member of the Lutheran church, by Rev. Miller. He made his home with his parents, on their farm. until the time of his marriage to Miss Anna Schadewald. which took place May 6, 1909; after which he farmed it for himself until 1921. At that time he moved to Blissfield, with his family, where he was known for his cheerful good nature. Two years ago he was taken sick with a severe heart attack, but he recovered sufficently to resume work. On Friday, Jan. 25, 1929 at 6:30 A. M. he died suddenly ot another heart attack while waiting to begin work at the papermill in Palmyra. He attained the age of 41 years 10 months and 19 days.He leaves to mourn his sudden demise his sorrowing wife, 4 chiIdren, Reinhold Mildred, Leona and HaroId; 4 brothers: Frank of Britton, Henry of St Clair, Bernhard of Deerfield, and Paul of Blissfield: 2 sisters, Anna Piotter of Blissfield, and Mrs. Martin Breukert of Riga.
