Leona Ballard ADRIAN - Leona Ballard, 71, of Seeley St., Adrian, died Wednesday,
Sept.21, 1994, in the presence of her family at Bixby Medical Center. She was
born Jan. 23, 1923, in Blissfield to Herman and Anna (Schadewald) Piotter. She
retired from the Lenawee County Health Department in 1991. Survivors include two
daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Diane) Sroufe and Mrs. Kevin (Deborah) Irwin, both of
Adrian; a sister, Mildred Piotter of Blissfield; a sister-in-law, Helen Piotter
of Adrian; two grandchildren,Nicole and Greg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
 Funeral services will be 11 am.Saturday, Sept. 24, 1994, from the Anderson
Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Rentner officiating. 
Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Blissfield. Friends may call at the
Anderson Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4 and 7-9p.m.Friday. Memorial
contributions maybe made to Hospice of Lenawee.
