Arden Pietcher
D. Arden Pletcher, 64, of 68 Sand Lake Highway, died in Bixby Hospital Saturday,
Jan. 1, 1972, where he had been a patient for a short time. He had been in
failing health for over one year. Mr. Pletcher was active in the brokerage
business for many years, but more recently had operated Horns Cafe in the Irish
Hills, retiring three years ago.
He was born June 9, 1907, in Adrian. On Nov. 11, 1929 he was united in marriage
to Eulalia Kinzel, who survives. In January of 1967 he was married to Pearl
Jeffrey of Tipton, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Theodore, of Spain; a daughter, Mrs. John (Jane)
Heffron of Michigan City, md; a brother, Wayne Pletcher of Adrian; 12
grandchildren, two great - grandchildren; three stepsons, Eugene and Ronald Rice
of Brooklyn and Edward Rice of California. He was preceded in death by one sister.
Services will be held at the  Everiss Funeral Home, Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Burial
will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
