He was born in Seneca Township on August 30, 1921. Lynn was a World War II veteran. He was an educator for 44 years, retiring from Monroe Junior High School. He served on numerous Bedford Township boards for many years. He was honored to receive the Minute Man Award and the U.S. Congressional Award, in addition to the Lynn A. Powers Award. Survivors include his three sons, five brothers and sisters, and seven grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death. Visitation will be on Friday afternoon at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home in Temperance. Masonic services will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening and funeral services will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Samara Lodge.
