These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organizations. _____________________________________________________________________ The death of Mrs. Abram (Laura Ann McKenzie) Poucher occurred at their home, two miles east of Morenci on Tuesday morning May 2, 1899. The death of Mrs. Poucher was very sudden. She was born in Woodstock, Vermont on Sept. 22, 1830 the daughter of Charles Munro and Anna H. Hawkins McKenzie. She married Abram Poucher on March 7, 1854. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the farmily residence, the burial being at Oak Grove cemetery, in Morenci. The services were conducted by Rev. McIntosh pastor of the Morenci M. E. church. Mrs. Poucher was the mother of six children, all of whom lived close to home. They are Mrs. W. C. Smith of Weston; Mrs. Adellal Williams of Seneca; Mrs. E. P. Fisk of this city; Mrs. Bertha VanValkenburg of Fayette, Fred who lives at Packard and Will who lives on the home farm. Her husband, Abram Poucher and two sisters and two brothers survive her. They are Mrs. W. H. Knight of Adrian township, Mrs. E. L. Luther of this city and Richard H.and Samuel D. McKenzie of this city. dz
