PETEE, 78, who died Friday evening, were held Monday afternoon at his home on South Monroe Street. Rev. Willard Thomas officiated and burial was in Pleasant View cemetery. Mr. PETEE, who had been ill the past six months, was an employee of the former Blissfield Robe & Tanning Co. for more than 25 years, and in late years was engaged in painting. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge. He and Mrs. PETEE marked their 60th wedding anniversary in July last year. He leaves his wife, Alice, two daughters, Mrs. Mary GLENN of Toledo and Mrs. George CLOTHIER of Pontiac, two sons, Edward and Milford, both of Blissfield, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five half-sisters, Mrs. William RIES of Metamora, Mrs. Thomas HARRIS of Jackson, Mrs. Boyd WOOD of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Cornelius DeVOS of Lansing and Mrs. Arthur SWEET of Adrian, one half-brother, Fred PETEE of Saginaw. from the February 7, 1947 issue of the Blissfield Advance dz
