The following is only a portion of an obituary found in the ADRIAN DAILY TELEGRAM on September 22, 1923 Edna May Pratt, born in Sand Creek to Samuel and Jamima Bittenger. She died in her home in Madison, September 18, 1923. She spent her early life in Sand Creek and attended school in Adrian, graduating in 1902. On March 30, 1903, she married Milford Schomp, who died in 1914. February 11, 1919, she married Frank Pratt. She was a kind neighbor, ever ready to help those deemed worthy of her love and esteem. A devoted wife, a loving and affectionate mother, and those who knew her inner life loved her most. Mrs. Pratt leaves her husband, Frank Pratt, two daughters, Dorothy Lolita and Ella Mary, one brother, C.R. Bittenger, of Detroit, cousin Addie Stumbaugh of Sand Creek. dz
