 Adrian--Marie G. RIEBE, 90, of Sharp Road, Adrian, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 
1989, at the Lenawee Medical Care Facility.
   She was born Dec. 24, 1898, in Clinton, to William and Amelia (ERLENBUSH) 
NEBLO.  She married Robert RIEBE June 18, 1919.  He preceded her in death in 
1948.
   Mrs. RIEBE was a teacher at the Brick School in Clinton and taught in 
Blissfield for 2 years.  She later was employed with American Chain and Cable 
for more than 40 years, retiring in 1970.
   She was a 1916 graduate of Clinton High School, ...
   She is survived by three granddaughters, Linda ALVERSON and Mrs. Dale 
(Sharon) FELVER, both of Adrian, and Carolyn FAIN of Grayling; nine great-
grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.  
    In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one 
daughter, and two brothers.  
    Services will be conducted at 1pm Monday at Braun Brothers Funeral Home, 
Adrian, with the Rev. Lawrence Cox officiating.  Burial will be in 
Pleasantview Cemetery, Blissfield.  
    Friends may visit Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 at the 
funeral home.  There will be a Rebekah service 7pm. Sunday at the funeral 
home.
