Blanche Irene "Tommie" Roe passed away on December 14, 2004 at Phoebe-Putney 
Hospital in Albany Georgia.  She was born in West Unity, Ohio on February 2, 
1925.  She retired from the Adrian Training School after 17 years of service.
Blanche was the mother of four children; she is survived by three children, 
eleven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, a sister and brother. She is 
preceded in death by her husband, son, parents, grandparents, and six brothers 
and sisters.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at the Purse Funeral Home in Adrian.  
Interment was in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee of World Indigenous 
Missions.
