When about 12 years old his parents removed to Tipton where he lived for a number of years. In 1892 he was untied in marriage to Miss Amy ALEXANDER. He has been superintendent of the stock department in a large brass supply house in Chicago for the last twenty years. He was an accomplished musician and for a number of years has been connected with the orchestra of the Englewood Congregational church. A week ago he was stricken with tonsilitis which later developed into malignant diptheria from which he died Friday night. The remains were brought to Tecumseh, Sunday for burial, Rev. B.R. Weld officiating at the grave. This was the fourth tragic death in his family. Hismother was the victim of a run-away accident some 24 years ago. His sister was impaled on a pitchfork which she was carrying down stairs in a barn. His father died of heart failure while on the train.
